DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Plans, organizes, supervises and controls the activities of the PICCI Integrated Electronic Security System (IESS);
  2. Studies, reviews and submits suggestions/proposals necessary in improving physical operations of the Integrated Electronic Security System;
  3. Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, system and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups;
  4. Performs daily backup operations, ensuring all required file system data are successfully secured to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary;
  5. Prepares documentation in a variety of written and electronic formats (e/g., daily paperwork/log, time and materials, key and material records, key inventory, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information;
  6. Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently;
  7. Effectively maintains accurate records of data recordings and events, using incident reporting software;
  8. Provide accurate recorded media to authorized personnel of the PICCI in accordance with its implementing rules and regulations;
  9. Implement strict confidentiality, maintain and respect the security and sensitivity of the service. Comply with the adopted Code of Practice and PICCI operational procedures; and
  10. Performs other related duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATION GUIDE

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering courses

Experience: Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience in CCTV / Surveillance equipment; At least one (1) year in supervisory capacity

Training: 40 hours of relevant training

Skills: Basic Security Surveillance equipment troubleshooting; Good written and oral communication skills; Computer literate; Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with a wide range of people
