PICC Welcomes Atty. Nicolette Ann P. Cruz as its New General Manager

The Philippine International Convention Center, Inc. welcomes Atty. Nicolette Ann P. Cruz as its new General Manager, following her appointment by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

GM Cruz took her oath of office last November 19, 2024, bringing her expertise in government contracts, public procurement, infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships, project management, and organizational development and leadership to managing Asia’s first international convention center. Her appointment comes as the Center prepares for its 50th Anniversary and the Philippine hosting of the ASEAN Summit, both in 2026. These events reaffirm the PICC’s prominence as the country’s premier venue for significant international and local events, hosting leading figures from business, science, government, the academe, and the arts.

Tasked with leading the PICC through these historic milestones and beyond, GM Cruz is committed to preserving its architectural and cultural legacy while evolving to meet the modern event demands of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. She is committed to ensuring continued market competitiveness, abiding by corporate governance best practices, and ushering in a period of sustainable growth and enhancement of and for the PICC. Designed by National Artist for Architecture Leandro V. Locsin and declared a National Cultural Treasure, the PICC continues to stand as a symbol of Filipino creativity and excellence, while boldly poised to meet the standards of present and future generations.

GM Cruz also joins the PICC Board of Directors, chaired by BSP Governor Eli M. Remolona Jr., with BSP Deputy Governor for the Regional Operations and Advocacy Sector, Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, serving as Vice Chairperson. Other members of the PICC Board include Gaudencio S. Hernandez Jr., Maria Elsa P. Jurado, Pia Bernadette R. Tayag, and new appointee Marjorie Gregoria C. Gaddi.
